How To Apply The Harmonic Shield to Your Electronic Devices
When applying The Harmonic Shield patch, please note the important principle of proximity. Your patch needs to be in direct contact with your device. Therefore
- If your device has a protective case, your first step is to take it off
- Prepare the surface your patch will be applied to, so it’s thoroughly clean and dry
- Choose a flat surface on your device to apply your patch. In a very few cases - for instance some cordless phones - the surface may be curved. The Harmonic Shield has some flexibility, but can't bend both top to bottom and left to right, and still be able to stick. If the surface where you'll apply your patch is curved, you may achieve better “stick” by cutting the patch in half before removing the backing. Then apply the two halves separately to those places where the surface is least curved. Observe your device and make your choice before you start
- Carefully remove the adhesive backing of The Harmonic Shield
- Apply the patch to the back or bottom side of your device, and smooth down firmly for a full and complete contact
- Put the protective case back on your device – and believe it or not, you’re done ! For EMF protection purposes, just one Harmonic Shield patch is needed per device
When protected from dampness and friction by your device protective case or battery compartment cover, the adhesive backing of your patch should last two years – and usually much longer. Please note that the propriety formulation of minerals in The Harmonic Shield does not wear out – their properties and effects are permanent !
