9) How Can I Test Battery Performance, Once I Apply The Harmonic Shield ?
Your testing will start well before you apply the patch
Before any other preparations, be sure you understand exactly where the patch will go, and how much of the battery you need to cover. A first but telling indicator of better performance will be whether a phone or device that used to run quite warm, runs cooler with patch in place. A battery that runs hot runs less efficiently, and wears out sooner. A cooler running device would predict better future battery performance - and also longer lifespan.
To test for faster charging times and longer standby times, you'll need to first test these before applying the patch, and then again at least three full charging cycles after it's applied. Testing how long your battery holds its charge while in active (non-standby) use may be more complex. Performance during active use depends on several factors - for instance the kind of use, the particular kind and brand of device, and the age of your battery when the patch is applied. New batteries are already at peak performance - so the benefits of The Harmonic Shield will show more gradually with time. There are two reasons to use The Harmonic Shield patch, and the way to apply it differs accordingly. These reasons are :

The battery compartments of some electronic devices may not open as easily, and some device warranties don't allow it. Always know and comply with your warranty
If you have any difficulty opening the battery compartment of your device, consult an authorized electronics repair person. Tell this person that you only need to have your device opened, the patch applied, and the cover closed again. This is generally not an expensive procedure, given the excellent benefits of the patch. 7) How Many Harmonic Shield Patches Do I Need to Protect Me/My Family From EMF ?
For personal electronic devices (cell phones, tablet and laptop computers etc) apply just one patch to the outside surface of your device - take care not to cover its speakers, power or charger ports. For plug in electric devices (microwave ovens, wireless/WiFi routers, hairdryers, power strip/surge protectors etc) apply one patch as close as possible to where your device power cord enters the device

9) How Can I Test Battery Performance, Once I Apply The Harmonic Shield ?
Your testing will start well before you apply the patch
Before any other preparations, be sure you understand exactly where the patch will go, and how much of the battery you need to cover. A first but telling indicator of better performance will be whether a phone or device that used to run quite warm, runs cooler with patch in place. A battery that runs hot runs less efficiently, and wears out sooner. A cooler running device would predict better future battery performance - and also longer lifespan.
To test for faster charging times and longer standby times, you'll need to first test these before applying the patch, and then again at least three full charging cycles after it's applied. Testing how long your battery holds its charge while in active (non-standby) use may be more complex. Performance during active use depends on several factors - for instance the kind of use, the particular kind and brand of device, and the age of your battery when the patch is applied. New batteries are already at peak performance - so the benefits of The Harmonic Shield will show more gradually with time. Older batteries may show more obvious performance improvement, once several charging cycles have been accomplished
10) How Do I Apply The Harmonic Shield Patch ?
There are two reasons to use The Harmonic Shield patch, and the way to apply it differs accordingly. These reasons are :
1)To reduce absorption of EMF by your body
2)To improve performance of the rechargeable lithium ion batteries in your electronic devices
3) To improve the taste of foods and beverages
If your goal is only to reduce EMF absorption, you only need to apply one patch directly to the surface of your electronic device. If your device has a protective case or cover, remove this and prepare device surface so it’s thoroughly clean and dry. Decide where on the back or bottom surface of your device the patch will go – but DON'T apply it to the screen, speaker, power or charger ports
Carefully remove adhesive backing of The Harmonic Shield, and apply the patch. Rub it smooth and flat. Then replace the device protective case and you’re done

11) Are There Any Special Tips for Applying the Patch to Lithium Batteries ?
If your device battery compartment opens easily, applying the patch can be simple. This is described briefly in “How do I apply The Harmonic Shield ?” above, and more thoroughly here
The battery compartments of some electronic devices may not open as easily, and some device warranties don't allow it. Always know and comply with your warranty
If you have any difficulty opening the battery compartment of your device, consult an authorized electronics repair person. Tell this person that you only need to have your device opened, the patch applied, and the cover closed again. This is generally not an expensive procedure, given the excellent benefits of the patch. Ask beforehand what the cost would be and if needed, shop for the best price
Sellers of batteries for cell phones and other small devices may install batteries they sell free of charge. If so, ask them to please also apply your patch to the battery at that time.
